Sync Your Disqus Comments With FriendFeed

One of the main problem caused by having multiple “social news aggregators” where people can interact with your content, is that you often loose control of what’s happening around your blog posts. A lot of times I found out people were discussing my blog posts on FriendFeed while no one had left a comment on my blog.
Today I read that there is an effective solution to this problem for blogs using the commenting system Disqus (like this one). You can basically synchronize the comments appearing on your blog with the comments on your posts on FriendFeed and vice versa. You can also choose one direction only (FF->Disqus and Disqus->FF) or both.
There are two main advantages by activating this service:
1) the comments on your blog will appear on FriendFeed too, making your feed more popular
2) you won’t loose the discussion taking place on FriendFeed around your blog posts since any comment made to the FriendFeed’s item will appear on your blog as well
I’ll activate it immediately, it was something I was looking forward to for a long time.
