SocialScope, the new Social Networks Aggregator for BlackBerry
I just discovered this little app today and I can definitely say it will become the next must-have application for any BlackBerry owner.
SocialScope is an aggregator for the main social networks out there. It currently supports Facebook and Twitter but I presume they are likely to add more pretty soon.
The app, currently in private Alpha (even if very well designed and, to date, never had problems with that), lets you browse your friends’ updates from Facebook and Twitter and lets you interact with those in various ways (comments, replies, direct messages etc.). Here are the main features:
- Updates are automatically pushed to your phone
- View your friend’s recent activities on one screen
- Post stuff to your social networks with one click
- Compose new updates directly from your Inbox
- See a contact’s activities right from your Address Book
Not bad for a private alpha, right? I highly recommend to get an invite and try it out, it immediately became one of the six apps on the main screen of my Bold
Follow SocialScope on Twitter to make sure to get an invite quickly. There is a comprehensive review at BerryReview.com (from which I took the screenshot above).
